To show our appreciation for your support, you will be receiving an annual subscription to the Green Guide by National Geographic, a $25 gift certificate to www.greenhome.com, and a "University of…Green is in our Nature" T-shirt from the UPX store.
4,384 electronic signatures have been collected from employees pledging to support Apollo’s commitment to the environment (as of March 31, 2008).
As part of the Go Green Challenge, each Apollo Group location was provided all of the tools needed to host a successful Living Green Expo to provide information on a variety of sustainable products. In fact, the Living Green Expo displayed 16 unique office and home products in total – some popular and others lesser known – that are designed to reduce our carbon footprint.
Not only did the Living Green Expo spark discussion at each location about sustainability, it also to provided helpful information that will guide decision-making when it comes to the environment. Additionally, many locations and their dedicated Green Team Captains have taken the Living Green Expo to the next level, distributing green candies to students, setting up a green potluck luncheon and even facilitating an enticing game of green Jeopardy.
A variety of locations provided wonderful Living Green Expo photos and feedback including University of Phoenix – Baton Rouge; Western International University in Phoenix; University of Phoenix – Plantation, Florida; IPD, Montreat College in Charlotte; University of Phoenix – San Jose; and University of Phoenix – San Bernardino.
