Go Green Challenge
While Apollo's environmental commitment is perpetual, we have designated the months leading up to the Earth Day (April 22) as the Go Green Challenge, concentrating our efforts to see just how much positive change we can drive through the organization. We recognize that individual and location-based efforts are critical to ensuring that the company as a whole is fulfilling its environmental commitment.
Now is the time for each and every one of us to personally step up to embrace sustainable living practices at the office and in our daily routines. Every contribution, small or large, is crucial to making a difference in your community and on the environment as a whole.
The Go Green Challenge will promote the implementation of recycling programs, the use of green break room products, and evaluating and curbing personal energy consumption both at home and the office. There are tremendous opportunities generated by the impact of approximately 50,000 Apollo Group employees and faculty beginning to reduce, reuse and recycle in every aspect of their daily lives.
During March and April, locations across the country will step up their efforts with an exciting Living Green Expo event that will help attendees learn hands-on about sustainable living and provide them with an array of resources.
