We know many of you are active participants in environmental causes in your communities that focus on sustainability and healthy living. We want to know your green story. What daily decisions do you make that help make others aware of the environment? Do you carpool to work or volunteer at a local environmental organization?

Each month, Apollo Group recognizes one employee for his or her dedication of time, talent, and service to helping promote green living at home, at work, or in the community. All employees are eligible for this recognition. Winners will be featured on the GEM Award - Green Employee of the Month page, along with a short bio and background on what they do to help the environment.

1) Can I make it personal?
Please do! Talk about what makes your experience unique… maybe
how your family was involved, or what your experience means in
your day-to-day life.
2) How long should it be?
Keep it brief (about 250 words) so people can easily read your
story and share it with others.
3) Can I include a photo?
If you are selected as the next GEM, you will be asked to email
a picture of yourself for inclusion in the article.
