At Apollo Group, we are lighting the way with new compact fluorescent bulbs.
In partnership with The Muller Company, the building owner of Hohokam Towers, we have begun the process of replacing all lighting at our headquarters with energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). Compact fluorescent bulbs last longer, use a fraction of the energy, and help reduce the greenhouse gas emissions produced by power companies. In fact, by replacing all standard light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs in the Hohokam Towers, we are reducing our electricity consumption by 220,899 kWh per year. That’s the equivalent of removing more than 170 tons of CO2 or 29.6 cars off the road each year!
